Rob grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended Forest Hills Eastern High School. An avid hockey player growing up, Rob attended Hope College where he was a member of the hockey team. Upon graduation from Hope, Rob went on to become a Realtor with JH Realty Partners. After a few years, Rob felt the calling to go to law school. Rob chose to stay in Grand Rapids and went to Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.
